you don't know what was in AT's mind. that's what you don't get. maybe he wanted vegeta to train in 300g, or maybe he wanted to highlight the limit on physical strength by having vegeta cap out below 300g, and just never got around to it. now, if you want to use author intent, AT did state in an interview that muscles could only take you so far, and that after the cell games goku and vegeta trained their ki instead of just their bodies, iirc. that is the closest you are going to get to author intent on the subject. the limit to strength does exist, both vegeta and goku hit it, and the fact that they are training at about the same weight is not coincidence. |
